We bought this rooster years ago in Savannah, GA, since which time it has quietly rusted atop our shed–until this year when the chickadees flew in its mouth and built a nest in its belly. The babies have hatched and we can hear them singing in there daily. So much happiness. Makes me want to sing too…when no one is listening.
